Caldwell County Commissioners on Tuesday, Sept. 10 voted to lift the burn ban due to improving conditions, drought index measurements below the drought threshold, and significant rain chances in the upcoming forecast at the recommendation of the Caldwell County Office of Emergency Management. Please burn only natural brush, make sure you have access to a reliable water source, and do not leave fires unattended.
