You must confirm online before your service date
Everyone summoned for jury duty in a district court must confirm through the eResponse system no later than midnight on the Thursday before the date on the summons.
If your summons came from the County Court at Law rather than a district court, use the County Clerk's jury page.

Qualifications and exemptions
Who must serve, who is disqualified and who may claim an exemption are all set by state law in Texas Government Code chapter 62 — not by this office.
