Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO)

The Capital Area Metropolitan Planning Organization (CAMPO) is the federally designated transportation planning organization for the greater Austin area, including Caldwell County. CAMPO coordinates transportation planning across Bastrop, Caldwell, Hays, Travis, and Williamson counties to ensure a comprehensive, cooperative, and continuing transportation planning process.

Caldwell County participates in CAMPO's Transportation Policy Board, which is responsible for establishing and guiding transportation policy for the region.
