Constable Richard Sanders is the elected peace officer for Commissioner Precinct 1. The office serves civil process — citations, writs and subpoenas — carries out evictions ordered by the courts, provides courthouse security and assists other law enforcement agencies.

Papers are served through the constable for the precinct where the person to be served lives or works. Call (512) 359-4705 before bringing paperwork in, so the office can tell you what it needs and what the service fee will be.
