Pay a misdemeanor fine online
Misdemeanor cases only
This payment site is for misdemeanor criminal cases handled by the County Clerk. Felony cases are paid on the District Clerk's payments page. A convenience fee of 5% is added to each card payment, with a $1 minimum.
E-filing for attorneys
Since July 1, 2019 attorneys must electronically file criminal documents in Caldwell County, under Court of Criminal Appeals Order 16-003. File through an Electronic Filing Service Provider approved by the Office of Court Administration. Some providers charge a fee for filing or card processing; some are free.
Read the rules with care, particularly Part 5, which governs filing documents that contain sensitive data not required by statute or court rule. If you are appearing at a hearing within 24 hours of e-filing, provide a courtesy copy of the filing to the court.
